31 Awesome Things I Did Before The Year Ends

The last time I seriously blogged something was almost 6 months ago. I guess it’s about time to do something memorable just before the year ends.

I’ll never stop writing my thoughts, the little wonders our world has to offer and  the overwhelming spur of the moments emotions.

Let me find my muse today so I can begin this crazy project in mind.

Merry Christmas.

Love,

10/10 – Day 322: Courage

Everyday is a test of courage.

Life is hard and not always fair. It’s just the way things are whether we like it or not. We usually whine, snivel around in every decision that we need to make and blame God for every impossible challenges that we need to go through. We need to have the courage to face each hard blows that life has to offer and make the most out of it.

George Bernard Shaw once wrote that we should be a force of nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. We should always expect that pain is inevitable part of life. When it happens all you need to have is a brave soul, a heart that triumphantly beats and a positive mind. We are bigger than our problems, we just need to have the right mindset. It really takes courage to live our lives.

I understand the Courage to Be as the courage to say “yes” to life in spite of all the
negative elements in human existence — in spite of man’s finitude, which means his coming from nothing and going to nothing to die… It takes courage to see in the reality around us and in us something ultimately positive and meaningful and live with it, even love it. Loving life is perhaps the highest form of the courage to be
.” — Paul Tillich

I sometimes ask myself, when will I be ready to step out of my comfort zone? When will I have the courage to take the risk of living like there’s nno tomorrow? I don’t know the answer but what I know is I need to be brave enough to face the future and the consequences of the decisions that I need to make.

10/03 – Day 315: Art

I want to be an arts student because I believed that I need to find my niche. I want to know what type of artist I can be and what art field do I really belong to. There’s a certain joy that being creative brings. It’s my second outlet whenever I feel so stress.

Writing is my first option whenever I feel that the world hates me. They both gives me the sanity I need during tough times. 🙂

09/08 – Day 290: Tumblr on Mobile

Tumblr is my safe haven, it’s where my thoughts linger, my rants, frustrations and other stuffs that is not quite awesome. WordPress on the other hand is my happy place where I can share to the world my daily awesome things. Blogspot is where I used to post my poems and love problems, well that was before TUMBLR.

I feel inlove with Tumblr because it is simple and user friendly. You can easily reblog stuffs that you can totally relate to, write your thoughts, share a video or a picture and follow your favorite tumblristas. I got addicted to it back in college and been addicted to it for years. Now, I cannot help but fall in love to what I have recently downloaded in Google Play, the Tumblr application for Android.

Seriously? I can’t help but smile. I can now express what’s on my mind especially in times that my mind is having it’s own verbal diarrhea.

Oh feel free to know me more: www.chillerspot.tumblr.com

09/07 – Day 289: On Sand, Booze and Fake Tattoos

Boracay — Enuf said.
A friend told me lately if we can go back this October to summer paradise and chill again just like the old times. Suddenly I can’t help my mind to stop reminiscing those good memories we had on the beach.

All those crazy card games, our wholesome drinking sessions, Marc Nelson — Boracay’s resident tourist spot (lol), solo moments while watching the beautiful sun as it sets and also the series of laugh trips plus the most stressful lunch I had, now those were my epic moments in paradise. The big catch? I got to spend it with my college yearbook friends and still my friends after 2 years. I don’t want to go back to Boracay anymore if they’re not the ones that I’ll be with though. I’ll just end up comparing the memories. Oh well, hoping for another summer blast soon!

Summer of 2010 — relived.

09/05 – Day 287: Walking under the Sun

Just because I have a lot of stuffs in mind that I need to junk out of my system…
One of the best ways for me to resolve my crazy mood swings and dilemmas is to simply have a long walk under the sun.

09/01 – Day 283: Unfinished Artwork

Just because it’s another day at home and I have a new canvas to paint on. I have this crazy fetish on Eiffel Tower so I decided to make it my muse but I realized that my round brush is missing. The border is so horrible that I just left it as it is for the mean time. Despite the flaws… it still makes me smile. (Imagine a pink Eiffel Tower, seriously? For crying out loud, what’s wrong with me!)

It reminds me of myself though, I am God’s unfinished artwork. 🙂
